Animates river of life book pages

Animates- River of Life

Animates is a Liverpool based project that seeks to inspire primary school children into engaged learning and fulfilling careers. Led by two amazing local women, Alex Cousins and Natalie Reeves Billing, they create books and videos focused on the growing industries in the Liverpool City region.

This year, at our annual Power of Women event, Alex and Natalie took to the stage to launch the third book in their series, Animates The River of Life. This book focuses on the historical maritime industry that we are proud to be part of. Trinity Logistics is delighted to have been able to support this spectacular company as inspiring youth into careers within the logistics industry is a value we share. It has been our honour to support this venture since their debut last year, acting as early sponsors and using our platforms to promote their launch. This has been an amazing opportunity to uplift the success of local women and provide wonderful resources to primary school children.

When writing the story, Natalie very kindly included Trinity Logistics in the story, during the characters trip to Liverpool Port. The fantastic illustrators, Tom and Hannah, featured drawings of Trinity trucks and a staff member (as an adorable octopus). Our team is so devoted to completing your freight forwarding project, we’re even working in cartoon form!

We want to thank the Animates team for the special framed cartoon strip from the book and wish them the best of luck with their future projects.
