Port of Shanghai

Shanghai is the world’s largest and busiest container port. Located on the central coast of China, the port has a vast network of terminals across a 32km space, with terminals in the East China Sea and along the Yangtze River. It is publically owned and operated by the Shanghai International Port Company Ltd.

Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan

The port of Ningbo-Zhoushan is the largest cargo port by tonnage and third for container volume. It is south of Shanghai, on the central coast. The site consists of numerous hubs on the mainland and across the archipelago of Zhoushan. It is owned and operated by Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co., Ltd.

Port of Qingdao

Qingdao has the 5th busiest port in the world. This port is situated on the south of the Shandong Peninsula with access to the Yellow Sea.  It is split into 4 key sections around the Jiaozhou Bay. Shandong Port Group own and operate the port.

Port of Shenzhen

Shenzhen is the 4th busiest port in the world.  The port is strategically positioned in Southern China in the Pearl River Delta. It is comprised of 6 smaller ports and is owned by Shenzhen Municipal Government. Multiple groups operate this port.  The Western Area is operated by China Merchants Port Group. Yantian, the eastern port, is operated by Shenzhen Yantian Port Group and Hutchison Port Holdings.

Port of Xiamen
