Michelle O’Dwyer wins MWOTY

On Friday 26th June, the annual Merseyside Woman of the Year took place in Liverpool. This ceremony celebrates women in business and has seven categories including community leader and entrepreneur of the year.

This year, the illustrious award was presented to Michelle O’Dwyer, who owns Baytree Cooking Academy CIC.  Her company use their profits to host community events and cooking classes. Their goal is to improve access to healthy, nutritional food. They help families develop cooking and nutritional skills and tackling poverty, hunger malnutrition and waste. They seek to bring these skills and aspirations to areas across Liverpool with high deprivation.

Michelle is a wonderful woman and the team at Trinity Logistics have been fortunate to work with her in the past. Earlier in 2026, Michelle volunteered her time to support Trinity Logistics at the Lord Mayor’s Annual Dragon Boat Race, in which £1300 was raised for The Liverpool Education Grants Charitable Trust.

Trinity Logistics could not imagine a woman more deserving for the Award this year and we look forward to seeing all the fantastic work she will do across the city.
