The Bulgarian Trade Delegation to Liverpool

This week, our owner Amanda helped in the organisation of the Bulgarian Trade Delegation to Liverpool.  The event saw Ambassador Stoytchev and Desislava Miteva of the British Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce visit Liverpool .

Lead by the Honorary Consul Peter Schriewersmann and our very own Amanda Unsworth. They worked with a team to provide the Ambassador a warm welcome to our lovely city.

During the visit, they hosted a visit to see the Port of Liverpool in full action as well as meetings with representatives of the University of Liverpool.  The programme focused on highlighting our amazing city, and highlighting our tech, maritime and logistics industries.

With this visit brings goals of building a stronger connection between Liverpool the Bulgarian city of Burgas, as they begin their journey as hosts of the 2027 Eurovision. Liverpool, as hosts during the 2023 contest, understand the effort of hosting such a large competition and will be supporting Burgas through this time.
